Manuscripts submitted to the editorial board will be considered for publication if they meet the following criteria:
Articles must be written in English. Manuscripts should be scholarly, focused on Islamic studies, original, and based on research or literature reviews that contribute to the development of the field.
Articles must be original, research-based, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals.
The title must be clear, concise, and no more than 15 words.
Authors are not required to include academic titles.
Manuscripts must be prepared in MS Word format using Constantia font, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, A4 paper size, and a length of 4,500–6,000 words, including abstract and references.
Each manuscript must include an abstract of 100–200 words and 3–5 keywords.
Article Format:
Introduction: explains the theoretical background, relevant research, practical context, and the purpose of the study. The literature review should present a clear “knowledge map,” include relevant theories and concepts, and refer to reputable journal articles published within the last 10 years.
Research Methods: describes the research design, participants, materials, procedures, and data analysis techniques.
Results and Discussion: results must be presented clearly and concisely. The discussion should interpret the significance of the findings rather than merely restating them. A combined Results and Discussion section is acceptable when appropriate. Excessive citations and overly long discussions should be avoided.
Conclusion: presents the main findings briefly. This section may stand alone or be included within the Discussion or Results and Discussion section.
References: must be arranged alphabetically. All cited sources must appear in the reference list. For non-research articles, the manuscript should include a main theme, logical development, author perspective, implications, and conclusions.
Additional Provisions:
Manuscripts will be reviewed and edited without altering their substantive content.
In-text citations must include the author’s name, year, and page number, or be managed using Mendeley in APA style (e.g., Iska, 2005: 47).
References must follow APA (7th edition) style and be managed using Mendeley.
References must be current, with a minimum of 20 sources, and at least 80% derived from primary sources or reputable international journals accessible to readers. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of references. All references must be cited in the text; otherwise, they will be removed.
